Poverty stricken man kills his three children, self

LAHORE: A man committed suicide after throwing his three children into the BRB canal near Qurban village on Sunday.

According to Cantonment SP Umer Cheema, Tahir of Hadiara village of Lahore, committed suicide after killing his three children over poverty.

On information, rescuers, police and locals reached on the spot and fished out bodies of three children including six-year-old Ali Raza, five-year-old Alishiba and four-year-old Adnan. A search for the body of Tahir was still on till the filing of the story. (APP)
