Bus evacuated prior to blast in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A major tragedy was averted when a passenger bus was evacuated prior to a bomb explosion on the motorway interchange here on Wednesday.

The bus travelling from Peshawar to Lahore was evacuated after information had been received that a bomb had been placed on it.

According to initial reports, one kilogram of explosives was used in the bomb.
