QUETTA: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Quetta carried out an operation at City Nullah Quetta and arrested seven drug peddlers, recovering two kilograms of heroin and 475 packets of the narcotic.
In continuation to the policy of nationwide crackdown and zero tolerance on notorious narcotics dens/sites/smugglers, ordered by Director General Anti Narcotics Force, ANF Quetta also arrested 425 drug addicts on the spot during operation, said a press release.
A total of 59 ANF personals participated in the operation, under the
direct supervision of the Force Commander.
It was well-planned operation, blocking all the entry/ exit points of the crime locality.
During operation, a total of 432 crime related persons were hauled up.
After initial interrogation, seven drug suppliers surfaced who were arrested and will be dealt by law.
Search of personals/ locality resulted in recovery of approximately 2kgs of high quality heroin including 475 "heroin Packs". Nullah-site was raided a week ago, however it re-emerged as addiction Den. All stakeholders have been informed to keep a watch, to deny re-occurrence of the crime. (APP)
