Terror bid targeting Heavy Industries Taxila foiled

TAXILA: An alleged terror bid targeting Heavy Industries Taxila was successfully foiled here on Monday, police sources said.

Two alleged terrorists tried to gain entry to the Heavy Industries Taxila but they were intercepted by the security guards present at the gate, source said. The two men instead of facing the queries of the guards began to run away from the gate.

The security guards pursued the suspects and succeeded in capturing them.

A suicide jacket was recovered from the possession of the suspects.

Police is investigating the arrested men.
