Fans are over the moon, asthe release date for Jujutsu Kaisen season three, along with its first teaser, has been announced.
Crunchyroll, which has the rights to air the anime internationally, live-streamed the details of its fifth anniversary special, stating that the forthcoming season will be released in June 2026.
In the teaser, the forthcoming arc, The Culling Game, has been shown, featuring Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu throwing punches at each other.
Shota Goshozono serves as director, whileHiroshi Seko is overseeing the script and series composition. Moreover, the characters' designs were created by Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa.
Meanwhile, the hit series' voice cast includes Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori, Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro, Daisuke Namikawa as Choso, and Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu.
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on Gege Akutami’s manga, as more than 100 million copies of the comic have been sold globally.
The season 3 logline reads, "It will adapt the Culling Game arc, where the sorcerer Kenjaku orchestrates a nationwide battle royale to elevate cursed energy levels and achieve his sinister goals."
"After the chaos of the Shibuya Incident and Gojo's sealing, Yuji and other sorcerers are forced to compete in this deadly tournament, facing new allies and brutal challenges as they fight for survival and uncover Kenjaku's master plan," the synopsis read.
