KARACHI: Prices of local equities slipped gains at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Monday, in view of a possible increase in the discount rate by the central bank later this month.

The benchmark KSE 100-share Index declined by 390.56 points to peg at 22,701.30.

Selling was witnessed across the board at the local bourse where per share rate of PSO dipped by 3.81 percent to close at Rs349.80.
