Karachi: Two killed, 12 injured in firing, violent incidents

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and twelve injured in firing and violent incidents overnight here, Geo News reported Friday morning.

Police said that some unknown armed persons last night opened fire near Punjabi Club in Kharadar area injuring eight persons of them two succumbed to their injuries, while the assailants fled away. The deceased were identified as Jaffer, 30 and Shamshad, 40 whose bodies later were shifted to Civil Hospital.

On the other hand, five persons were injured in firing at Machchar Colony of Docks area of them one Naveed was in critical condition. Besides, two persons sustained injuries in Malir and Agra Taj Colony firing incidents.
