Islamabad standoff : Gunman’s wife sent on transit remand

ISLAMABAD: A duty magistrate on Sunday issued a one-day transit remand for Kanwal, wife of the gunman responsible for the standoff in the federal capital on Thursday.

The accused was presented before the magistrate’s court in sector F-8 in Islamabad.

According to reports, Kanwal will be produced before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday.
