Major among 5 army men booked after torturing policeman

PESHAWAR: Police on Thursday booked five Pakistan Army personnel including an officer for torturing a traffic warden.

According to reports, an FIR was registered at East Police Station against four soldiers and a major after a traffic police officer approached to lodge the complaint.

Police said that the army men subjected the traffic policeman to torture after exchange of heated words at a check-post. The victim suffered injuries on his leg and back.
