ISLAMABAD: Two people were killed and two others injured as unknown gunmen opened fire outside a religious seminary in the federal capital on Friday, police said.

The police said that the incident took place outside the seminary located near Khanna Brigde.

The dead and injured were taken to a nearby hospital. The dead were identified as Qari Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Darwaish. However, motive behind the firing was yet to be ascertained.
