King Charles celebrates the 30th anniversary of a temple with a public appearance

King Charles has just marked another public engagement at a temple in the UK, for its 30th anniversary.

This temple is BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, in West London, often known as the Neasden Temple.

According to The Independent the visit also included personal belated wishes for Diwali, a Hindu festival of lights.

Priests are even said to have tied threads around the King’s wrists “to show our bonds remain ever sweet”, according to the publication.
