HARARE: Pakistan skipper Misbah ul Haq won the toss and decided to bat in the 1st ODI against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.

Misbah ul Haq is the first Pakistan captain to be captaining his side in 50 consecutive ODIs.

This is the same pitch that was used for the second T20, and that one was a belter.

Zimbabwe captain Brendon Taylor hopes to find a bit of life in the pitch and look for early wickets. He said his side wanted to restrict Pakistan to 250.

Zimbabwe has made a change as Tendai Chatara is in for Shingi Masakadza.
