Nine profiteers sent to jail

KARACHI: On the instructions of Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, the deputy commissioners of five districts of Karachi and assistance commissioners of all sub-divisions raided at different markets and fined profiteers.

Action was taken against 30 milk sellers, 1 fruit seller, 15 vegetable sellers, 19 retailers and 62 poultry traders and a total fine of Rs 1,51,100 was collected by challenging 127 profiteers. (PPI)
