DALLAS: Famous Pakistani TV drama serial artists Qaiser Nizamani and his wife Fazila Qazi have said that they are very impressed by the human and civil attitude of Americans in their tour of America.
They made these remarks while talking to Jang/Geo in a reception hosted by a local community leader Moazzam Bhangar & his wife Hina Bhanger in their honor.
The artists said that in their four-month tour of America they concluded that Americans have positive and sincere sentiments for Pakistanis.
They said their US tour is a memorable one, which they will always remember. They informed the audience that they recorded scenes for an upcoming drama serial which is currently named as "Gulabu Lamhe" which may be changed later.
The serial will address the issues that young boys and girls face when they come from Pakistan and face certain problems. The serial is less of romance and tragic scenes than highlighting social issues.
They said that most of the shots for the serial was recorded outdoor. The serial will be from 90 to 120 episodes in which 4 are already recorded and further recording will be taped upon popularity of these episodes, they added.
The artists said local talents will be given chance to perform in these episodes. They said that they have presented a similar 26 episodes serial "Dusri Dunya" in 2001 which was well appreciated as it was aired by PTV.
They said that American tourism would also be promoted through their serial.
They had visited Arizona and went to Grand Canyon where they taped scenes for the serial in which local families are also performing including Gilbert family, Jauhar family, and Amir Chaudhry and Abid Chaudhry who are from a political family of Sahiwal also participated in the serial.
They also went to Oklahoma where they recorded at major tourist places.
