MALAHIDE, Ireland: Ireland, after losing the toss, made 269 for seven in their lone one-day international against England at Malahide on Tuesday.

Ireland captain William Porterfield top-scored with 112 in an innings where no other batsman made more than 27 and the second-top score came from 32 extras.

Former Ireland fast bowler Boyd Rankin, making his ODI debut for England, led the visitors' attack with four wickets -- including that of Porterfield -- for 46 runs. (AFP)
