Toll from blasts in Somali capital hits 18: police

MOGADISHU: Two blasts in the Somali capital Mogadishu left 18 people dead Saturday, a police officer said, updating a colleague's earlier toll of nine.

"At least 18 people were killed in the attack," said Mohamed Dahir. An AFP
reporter said he had seen 12 bodies at the scene of the attack.
