ECP reserves decision on Prime Minister’s Kisan Package

ISLAMABAD: A high-level meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took place on Tuesday where the ECP members were briefed by the Secretary National Food Security and Secretary Information on the Prime Minister's Kisan (farmers) Package.

The commission had summoned an explanation from the two secretaries regarding the Kisan Package to decide whether the project was in contravention of the rules of the code of conduct issued for elections.

The ECP has reserved its decision which will be announced later.
