Obama to make four-nation Asia tour in October

WASHINGTON: US President Barack Obama will head to Asia next month on a four-nation tour that will include his participation in the APEC summit, the White House said Friday.

Obama will visit Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and the Philippines from October 6-12, White House spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement.
