HARARE: Pakistan are staring defeat as they still need another 47 runs with 2 wickets intact at lunch on the last day of the 2nd Test against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club.
The only ray of hope for Pakistan is skipper Misbah ul Haq who is unbeaten on 58 and fighting a lone battle on a wicket which is deteriorating by the minute.
Earlier today Pakistan resumed there innings still needing 106 runs with 5 wickets intact but lost Adnan Akmal early.
A good partnership between Abdur Rehman and Misbah worth 34 runs brought Pakistan a bit close to the target but then Abdur Rehman was caught behind off Panyangara, Pakistan still needing 64 to win.
Saeed Ajmal soon followed his spinning partner leaving it to Junaid Khan to see the team through to lunch without further damage which he nervously did.
TL Chatara has been the pick of the Zimbabwe bowlers so far taking 4-48.
