ANKARA: Pakistan and Turkey Tuesday agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in different sectors.
The understanding came during the meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan here on Tuesday.
The two leaders exchanged views on promoting economic ties and Turkish participation in the development of Pakistan.
They also discussed situation in Syria and post US-withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Earlier‚ a contingent of Turkish armed forces presented a guard of honour to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif when he arrived at the residence of Turkish Prime Minister.
