Ustad Salamat Ali, Azra Riaz perform in Dallas

DALLAS: Platinum club hosted a musical evening in a local restaurant in Dallas where the pair of famous ghazal maestro Ustad Salamt Ali and his wife Azra Riaz presented a memorable performance.

A sumptuous dinner was also hosted at the occasion. The platinum club also presented a few skits during the program which conveyed the message as how people live their lives transitioning from Eastern to Western cultures and traditions and what kind of challenges they face during the transition.

People in attendance took a lot of interest in these skits.

Platinum Club President Basheer Magani and other officers Ali Suryani, Nadir Lalani, Shiraz Mithani, Barkat Jiwani, Aziz Ismail, Hassan and Nazir Kajani welcomed the guests and audience.

Addressing the gathering, Basheer Magani and Nadir Lalani said the purpose of this gathering is to gather the community to celebrate festivals and happy occasions together.

They said the club would present programs and events in future similar to this for promoting harmony in the community.

The great ghazal and music duo of Ustad Salamat Ali and Azra Riaz presented a great collection of their ghazals and geets.

The attendees appreciated the performance of Salamat Ali and Azra Riaz and enjoyed the program which lasted till late night.
