Lawyers' demo against church blasts

LAHORE: The lawyers community on the second ay boycotted proceedings of subordinate courts to protest against the Peshawar tragedy here on Tuesday.

The lawyers completely boycotted court proceedings at sessions and civil court on a call given by the Punjab Bar Council. However, the court work continued as per routine at the Lahore High Court and lawyers appeared in cases before courts.

Abid Saqi, President Lahore High Court Bar Association, said the bar was not observing boycott on account of difficulties faced by litigants.
