Four houses damaged in Karachi’s Korangi warehouse blaze

KARACHI: At least four houses partially damaged as a blaze in a nearby warehouse of a carpet factory engulfed them in Korangi industrial area of the city on Wednesday.

According fire rescue officials, no one was present in the houses when the fire broke out in the warehouse in Korangi’s 100 Quarters area.

Five fire tenders and two water bowsers were busy extinguishing the fire at the time of reporting.

Fire brigade officials further said that leather, fabric and other textile related material was stored in the warehouse.
