No let up in Karachi violence; 7 more killed

KARACHI: Killings continued in various parts of the port city, as 7 more people fell prey to the firing and other incidents of violence on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to police, unknown gunmen opened fire on a car at Drigh Road, killing two persons including Mashoor Bangash who is an office bearer of a political party.

A man was gunned down in Machar Colony while another was killed in a similar incident of firing near a bus stop in New Karachi area.

A bullet riddled body was recovered from Kalakot area of Lyari.

Two persons including a woman lost their lives as a result of firing in a house in Hussain De-Silva area of North Nazimabad. According to police, the husband of the slain woman was allegedly involved in the crime committed in suspicion of infidelity.
