KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) incurred marginal losses on Thursday to end lower at 22,152.35 points.

The benchmark KSE 100-Index lost 0.17 percent or 37.32 points.

Pakistan's premier bourse closed lower after witnessing a lackluster session as only 102 million shares were traded, dealers said.

Renewed buying interest was seen in oil stocks especially Pakistan Petroleum Ltd after Prime Minister inauguration of Latif Field.

Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd remained under pressure amid conflicting news regarding electricity price change, said dealer.

Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd lost 2.07 percent to Rs269.50 whereas Pakistan Petroleum Ltd went down by 0.24 percent to close at Rs203.
