Hyderabad: Security guard shot dead during robbery

HYDERABAD: A security guard was shot dead during an armed robbery in a house in Wahdat Colony area in the limits of Qasimabad police station here on Friday.

According to police SHO, Sajjad Hussain Sandho, 30- year-old Ghulam Akbar Sangi was shot with multiple bullets by three unknown armed accused who broke into his house.

The SHO said that initially it appeared that robbery was the motive of the attack but, he added, the police were investigating the case to check other clues.

The attackers fled after killing Sangi.

The dead body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for post-mortem. (APP)
