Nine butchers arrested for selling meat injurious to human health

ISLAMABAD): The Islamabad police and district administration on Saturday conducted raids in Jhangi Syedan,Tarnol, and arrested nine buthcers with kilogram meat injurious to health.

According to a police spokesman, the Tarnol police received information about the sale of substandard in the area.

A special team consisting of Food Inspector Raja MuhammadArshad, Station House Officer Tarnol Sub-Inspector SattarBaig, sub-inspectors Muhammad Idrees and Gul Nawaz raided the said place and arrested nine persons for selling substandard meat.

The arrested accused were identified as Malik Wasim, Imtiaz Hussain, Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, Muhammad Naeem, Muhammad Waqas, Rashid Mehmood, Imran Ali, Muhammad Abid and Adil Hussain.
