4,364 accused arrested, 1,160 arms recovered

KARACHI: The Karachi police and CID in a joint venture conducted 3,206 raids in different areas of the metropolis, arrested 4,364 wanted and absconders accused and recovered 1,160 arms from them.

This was informed to Inspector General Sindh Police, Shahid Nadeem Baloch about the performance of the Karachi police from Sept 5 to Oct 4, said a statement issued on Monday.

It said that the Karachi police is pursuing an effective strategy to take action against the criminal elements with a view to establish lasting peace in the city.
