DALLAS: DFW Pakistani Christian communities came together to show solidarity with the victims of the Peshawar and to protest on church attack in Peshawar which resulted in over 80 deaths.
The twin suicide attack on All Saints Church occurred after Sunday mass ended and is believed to be the country's deadliest attack on Christians community.
Standing in the small courtyard against the attack on the All Saints Church, a peaceful protest was held, which is hosted by Pakistan Christian Cultural Society of Dallas Forth worth (PCCS).
The event organizer, Javed Samuel Gill, who is also the founder of PCCS, led several local Dallas area churches to gather at International Family Church in Garland for a peaceful march and silent protest against violence against the innocent.
All Priests who gathered to speak against the violence condemned the cowardly act and encourage all to pray for the victims. They encouraged forgiveness to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ who said to pray for your enemies as well as those you love.
Mr. Samuel Pashi who was baptized in the Peshawer Church was on hand to guide and support with his entire family.
There were many people who participated in this march and rally, especially the little kids who held up signs and marched in the cold and rainy weather.
The services of organization, Wipe a Tear, led by Rehmat Raza, were lauded for providing all signs and banners.
