KARACHI: Anti-Terrorism Court-III (ATC-III on Wednesday remanded a notorious Lyari gangwar, Ameen Buledi sent to jail custody till October 19, 2013.

Police brought Ameen Buledi in an armored personnel carrier (APC) to ATC-III amid tight security.

The investigation officer asked the court to allow the police to interrogate the accused for some days.

The court however rejected the police plea and sent the accused to jail till October 19. Lahore police had arrested Buledi along with his two accomplices, Zubair and Junaid, from a hotel on Mall Road, Lahore.

According to police, Buledi was wanted for murder, attempt murder, kidnapping for ransom and several other crimes . Buledi was presented in several courts in different cases.
