ABUDHABI: S.Africa has won the toss and decided to bat first in the first Test of the much awaited Test series between Pakistan and S.Africa at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Pakistan have decided to go in with two debutants. Opener Shan Masood and left arm spinner Zulfiqar Baber will be playing their first Test match.
S.Africa are playing with a lone spinner, Peterson as Duminy comes back in the side.
M. Irfan comes back into the side but Abdur Rehman misses out with a sore back.
According to Kepler Wessels the wicket looks dry and rock solid with a light grass cover, good for batting.
Misbah in the post toss interview expressed his desire to bat first had he won the toss. He said that Pakistan really needs to bat well and post scores over 300 frequently to give a chance to the bowlers to have a go at a very strong S.African batting lineup.
