KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to join the Sindh government and senior leaders of the party have gathered in Dubai to hold consultations, sources said.
The sources said that Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Babar Ghori from Karachi and Nadim Nusrat from London had reached Dubai on the directives of Altaf Hussain to review the decision.
They said that a meeting of the MQM leaders with Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari was expected within the next 24 hours.
Sources added that PPP leader and former Interior Minister Rehman Malim would also attend the meeting.
