LAHORE: The Punjab health department has completed many rounds of larviciding in risky areas of the city to eradicate dengue.
It was learnt by a health source after a meeting to review implementation of ongoing preventive measures against dengue.
The larvae finding teams of the health department have eradicated dengue larvae from over 3,000 places in the city.
However, the officials directed 100 per cent implementation on guidelines and preventive measures recommended by the experts to control dengue.
It was also learnt from the health source that the Punjab chief minister had already given approval to dengue control project.
Over 500 dengue cases have been reported from the city hospitals so far, the sources said.
