ABU DHABI: Pakistan were all out for a modest total of 209 in 49.4 overs in the second One-day International against South Africa here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Pakistan batsmen could not make a big score on an easy batting wicket after skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bat first.

Opener Ahmed Shaehzad top scored with 58 followed by Mohammad Hafeez (26) Shahid Afridi (26) and Misbah (25).

Misbah completed 1,000 ODI runs in the current year of 2013, becoming the third batsman to achieve the milestone after Australia's George Bailey and India's Virat Kohli. He is the first Pakistani captain to make 1000 or more runs in a calendar year.

Shahid Afridi hit four boundaries off 20 balls while Wahab Riaz hit two sixes in his 18.

For South Africa, pace bowlers Ryan McLaren claimed four wickets for 34 and Morne Morkel bagged three for 38.

South Africa lead the five-match ODI series 1-0 after clinching a sensational one-run win in the first match at Sharjah on Wednesday.
