DALLAS: The annual festival of Halloween was celebrated all over US as an international tradition with fanfare and festivities.
Homes and buildings were decorated appropriately for this occasion. Children and even elders were dressed in costumes and outfits to look creepy and scary to enjoy the festival.
Small children wearing costumes and masks went around neighborhoods and malls in the evening for trick and treating and amassed large treasures of candies.
On the other hand residents of South Asia descent also enjoyed with their kids stayed busy collecting candies the whole evening. Hindus and Sikh were in celebration of Diwali at the same time so Diwali parties mixed with Halloween festivities were hosted at few places.
The largest Desi party was hosted in downtown Irving hotel which was hosted by Mazzako entertainment group. Guests were welcomed by Mazzako Entertainment leaders Hari Acharya, Parshan Shakhya, Subodh Thapa, and Subodh Moktar.
They passed out costumes to invited guests. Desi boys and girls came dressed in Halloween costumes from home and enjoyed the festivities till late night. Participants enjoyed with Indian music and songs and danced on bhangra music as well.
