Rain delays second day of England tour match

HOBART: Rain delayed the start of play on the second day of England's four-day tour match against Australia A in Hobart on Thursday.

The Bellerive Oval pitch was covered, with showers forecast through the day.

The England openers batted through the entire opening day on Wednesday, reaching stumps at 318 without loss, with skipper Alastair Cook on 154 and Michael Carberry not out 153. (AFP)
