Karachi: 5 accused arrested, arms seized during operation

KARACHI: Police conducted a search operation in Mehmoodabad and Clifton areas of Karachi and arrested five accused while arms and drugs were also seized from their possession, Geo News reported Thursday.

DSP Tariq Mughal told that four accused including two absconders were arrested from Mehmoodabad area. Four pistols, one snatched motorcycle and drugs were also recovered from their possession.

On the other hand, police apprehended a culprit from Clifton block 7 area who was involved in robbery and other street crimes.

ASP Ebadat Nisar told that the accused is a habitual criminal.
