ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police has busted a notorious gang involved in a murder case and snatching valuables at gunpoint.

Lap tops cash bike mobile phones and weapons have also been recovered from their possession a police spokesman said on Friday.

According to details a special CIA police team under supervision of DSP Basheer Ahmed Noon including Sub Inspector Shamas Akbar ASI Altaf Hussain and other policemen focused to trace dacoity incidents in area of Sabzi Mandi Industrial Area and Shehzad Town police stations and succeeded to bust a criminal gang.

The nabbed gangsters have been identified as accused Shahbaz Wali resident of Afghanistan, Wahid Gul District Nowshera Wali Afghanistan Isamail Shah Malakand Agency, and Mehmood Khan from Afghanistan.

Eleven cases including one murder case have been registered against them in the areas of Sabzi Manid Shehzad town and Industrial area police stations.

CIA police also recovered four snatched motorbikes 10 snatched lap tops 10 snatched mobile phones cash two pistols and looted items from their alleged possession. Further investigation is underway from them and police is also hopeful for more recovery from them.

Inspector General of Police Islamabad Sikandar Hayat has also reviewed the performance of CIA police and appreciated overall efforts in busting these gangs. (APP)
