LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan has alleged that after the recent drone strike in North Waziristan it had become clear that the PML-N government was in cahoots with the US.

Addressing a news conference here on Friday, Khan said the US continued conducting drone strikes while the Pakistani government only issued condemnations. Imran Khan further said that Pakistan’s information minister was behaving like the US State Department spokesman. He claimed that the PML-N was playing a double game and did not even have a unanimous policy within the party.

Talking about the Nato forces pullout from Afghanistan, Khan said the US was not leaving Afghanistan even after the troop withdrawal and would continue to run its drone program for ten years. According to Khan there could not be any peace dialogue unless missile strikes came to an end.

The PTI chairman said that Nato supplies had been blocked in accordance with unanimous resolutions and as per the decision of the Peshawar High Court. He clarified that they did not want to fight with the US but rather wanted to liberate Pakistan from the clutches of US slavery.

Announcing that the PTI would hold a protest against inflation on December 22, Imran Khan said the PML-N government had introduced schemes for tax evaders. He added that black money could not bring peace in the country even if it is filtered through different schemes.
