ANF seizes heroin worth Rs35 million

ISLAMABAD: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Karachi during routing checking at Qasim International Container Terminal seized a container carrying about 375 Kgs of fine quality heroin.

The container was loaded with 448 Large Size Cartons (each carton containing 12 oil filters) and 1113 Small Size Cartons (each carton containing 40 filters).

Heroin was tactfully concealed inside the filters. Container was booked for Uganda Africa. Initial investigations have resulted in arrest of 5 individuals said a press release.

ANF Karachi carried out 4 Clean up Operations against drug addiction dens in areas of Lyari North Karachi Aram Bagh and Old Sabzi Mandi.

During operations 7 addicts were hauled up and sent to ANF Addiction Treatment Centre Lyari.
