Karachi police arrest 77 accused in last 24 hours

KARACHI: The city police in their on going drive against criminals arrested 77 accused from different parts of the metropolis during the past 24 hours.

A police official on Wednesday said that those arrested included 23 absconders and proclaimed offenders besides those allegedly involved in murders dacoities, robberies and other crimes.

As many as 35 illicit arms weapons also recovered from the possession of those arrested. These included five grenades bombs.
