PESHAWAR: The firefighters even after struggling for five hours have been unable to extinguish an infernal blaze that broke out in a plastic warehouse here on Sunday night, Geo News reported.
The fire brigade was called to the burning warehouse located on Peshawar’s Ring Road around 10:00 PM.
Meanwhile merchandise --including plastic utensils and other stuff-- worth millions has gone up in smoke so far.
According to sources on the site, ten fire tenders are taking part in the operation.
Heavy black smoke filled the sky as crews tried to get the fire under control.
Fire officials hope to have the fire out soon but say it may take longer than expected before all the flames are extinguished.
