ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected the plea of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf seeking an exemption from appearing before the special court hearing the treason case.

The former president’s counsel had informed the single member bench hearing the plea that their client was not well and undergoing treatment.

The court rejected the plea stating that it did not have jurisdiction to intervene in matters of the special court.
