Karachi: JUI-S Secretary General Usman Yar, 2 others shot dead

KARACHI: At least three people including Mufti Usman Yar, the secretary general of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Samiul Haq Group, were killed when unknown armed men opened fire on a car on Shahra-e-Faisal, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports, four men traveling in the car were targeted by gunmen from both sides of the vehicle near Awami Markaz.

The injured were taken to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment where three of them succumbed to their wounds. A hospital source said that the victims received bullet wounds on their chest.
