Killers of media man arrested

RAWALPINDI: The police on Saturday arrested alleged killers of a media man besides recovering 15 stolen vehicles, 9 motorcycles, arms, drugs, mobile phones cash and gold ornaments from their possession.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Town Karmat Ullah Malik stated this while addressing a press conference here Saturday.

He said that the killers of a media man who worked for a private TV channel were arrested during a raid and the weapon used in the crime was also recovered.

SP said that the killers Farhan alias Fani and Usman Karim were stated to be professional criminals and had confessed killing Haroon Ahmed on January 9 when he resisted the dacoity attempt. They were presented before the media persons after registering cases.
