Taliban’s nominated committee for talks meets

ISLAMABAD: Three members of a committee nominated by the Taliban held its first meeting here on Monday.

The meeting was chaired by Maulana Samiul Haq who expressed hope that the government would find a solution during the Taliban talks.

Professor Ibrahim said a solution could only be achieved through the dialogue process. He added a meeting with the government to hold dialogue had been summoned today (Monday).

The meeting was attended by Maulana Samiul Haq, Professor Ibrahim and Maulana Abdul Aziz.
