Police arrest 131 in 24 hours

KARACHI: Karachi police, during last 24 hours, arrested 131 accused and recovered arms and drugs from them.

Police and CIA conducted 98 raids besides engaging in 4 encounters. They arrested 131 accused including 7 absconders/ proclaimed offenders.

Police recovered 7 Kalashnikovs, 27 pistols/ revolvers/ mousers, one shotgun, two rifles and drugs from the possession of the arrested accused. (PPI)
