TTP spokesman informed of ceasefire demand during talks

ISLAMABAD: The committee nominated by the Taliban and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid spoke over the telephone during a meeting held with the committee formed by the government.

Sources said the Taliban committee apprised Shahidullah Shahid over the demand of the government committee for ceasefire.

The TTP spokesman said he would apprise the Taliban shura over the demand and would inform the committee after it.
