Twin blasts injure three in Orangi Town

KARACHI: Twin blasts rocked the vicinity of Orangi Town early Saturday morning where three persons were wounded, Geo News reported.

According to police, consecutive two blasts occurred near Mominabad police station in Orangi Town today morning that injured three persons including a policeman.

Police reached the site and cordoned off the area while further details about the nature of the explosions are yet to be confirmed.

Initial investigation, however, indicated that the blasts occurred when hand grenades were hurled by unknown miscreants that targeted the police station, police said.

Rescue teams reached the blast site and shifted the injured to the hospital.
