Kashmore: five killed as train bogies derail after blast

KASHMORE: At least five people including four children were killed and 25 others sustained injuries when three bogies of Khushal Khan Kkattak Express derailed after blast on the railway track near Kashmore on Sunday, Geo News reported.

According to police the blast took place in Tangwani area.

Eyewitnesses said three bogies were badly damaged after derailing. Nearly 100 metre track was affected by the blast.

Sources said the injured were being shifted to nearby hospital on tractor-trolley.

The train was going from Karachi to Peshawar.

The death toll could further rise, the sources added.
